At inception, we took a blank canvas approach and focused our lens on a singular question: “How could we do this better than everyone else?” After belaboring the question to the point of nausea, we found that the answer came to life within a few core principles:

EJ Sander, Co-Founder
Monocle Search Group co-founder EJ Sander is a talented recruitment leader, technology recruiter and business development executive. He earned his stripes as a technical recruiter and business development professional at a Seattle based technical-staffing agency supporting start-ups and Fortune 50 companies.
Following that experience, he brought his skills to the Walt Disney Company. During his 9-year tenure he led hiring efforts and built technical teams across the nation for all of Disney’s businesses including ESPN, ABC, Walt Disney Studios, Disney Interactive, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney Technology Solutions and Services, Disney Consumer Products, Marvel and Lucas Films.
In his final role with the Walt Disney Company, EJ served as Director of Technology Talent Acquisition and led the strategy, design and launch of the company’s first ever dedicated technology recruiting organization, which led recruitment for the company across the U.S. This organization managed talent planning and hiring of more than 900 technology professionals annually. He also led the creation and delivery of long-term companywide recruitment specific strategies, such as organizational development, marketing initiatives and diversity programs.
EJ is an exceptional organizational leader, strategist and executive recruiter. His breadth of experience covers leading talent acquisition in several disciplines including technology, creative/design, marketing/sales, recruiting professionals and HR.
